In 1988 Heinz Rainer founded Rainer GmbH for cargo securement systems. His aim: Securing cargo in a container in an easier, faster and safer way. Heinz Rainer developed the first textile container lashing system. Back then an absolute novelty, nowadays standard procedure.
Since its beginnings Rainer GmbH continuously enhanced the container lashing systems. Always keeping in mind the aim: “easier, faster, safer” and sticking to its high standards in quality.
After more than 30 years at the top of the family business, Heinz Rainer passes on leadership of the company to his son Andreas Rainer, effective on February 1st, 2020.
Andreas Rainer is looking forward to this new task. He has been part of the cargo securement family for the past 15 years. Starting as an employee at Rainer GmbH, he transitioned to deputy director in 2009. In 2015 Andreas Rainer started his own business in the field of cargo securement, with headquarters in Brühl, Germany and a subsidiary in Valparaiso,IN, USA. For reasons of efficiency HLash will relocate its headquarters to Cologne, joining forces with Rainer GmbH.
While HLash GmbH focuses on international business, Rainer GmbH has Germany as its core market, making the two companies a perfect fit.
For now the two companies will keep their corporate identity. Nonetheless Andreas Rainer guarantees that Rainer customers will experience the same high standard in service as do HLash customers.
