Human Rights 2022

Tomorrow is Human Rights Day

74 years ago, on Dec. 10, 1948, the UN General Assembly publicly announced the ‘Universal Declaration of Human Rights’. This declaration lists our civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights in 30 articles.

For 72 years, December 10 has been an international day of remembrance.

Human rights – for us in Germany today a matter of course.

A privilege that does not exist everywhere in this world, but should exist. We are diversity, but we are also equal.

Even here in Germany, human rights did not always apply – not to everyone. We should not forget that.

All the more important for us to set a sign – for human rights.

Not only today.

Which is why we have drawn up our own code of conduct. In regular training sessions on the Code of Conduct, we make our employees aware of the importance of human rights. As of this year, we also have a Code of Conduct for suppliers. With this code, we advocate the compliance with human rights in our supply chain.

Human rights – what do they mean to you?
